Iphone Dev-team finally got an untethered jailbreak but its not released yet .Iphone ,ipod and ipad uses which have IOS5 can jailbreak your ios device with a tethered jailbreak(that simply means in order to boot it into a jailbroken state, you need to connect the device to a computer when powering it on.).
If u are patient enough than wait till they released the untethered one.You can try www.jailbreakme.com on your ios device but jailbreak for ios5 is not yet out yet.
